The ruins of the former Marinehaus opposite the Mrkisches Museum at Köllnischer Park in central Berlin ought to be transformed into an outstation of the museum - programmed as an open, undesignated laboratory complementing the curatorial tasks of the museum. Besides high-end performance spaces the program for the listed landmark building should comprise spaces for temporary fellowship holders, rehearsal spaces for orchestras and performing artists.
Run in collaboration with the Senate for Urban Development the building is meant to become an open house for Berlin topics for a wide public.
