Among the public clients are the cities of Frankfurt am Main and Berlin. Expert advice has been provided to the cities of Wolfsburg, Wismar, Würzburg, Hanau, Kassel and Ingolstadt. International cooperation has been undertaken with colleagues in Portugal, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland and China.
Barbara Hoidn and Wilfried Wang have extensive teaching experience in the USA and in Europe. Wilfried Wang holds the O'Neil Ford Centennial Professorship in Architecture at the University of Texas at Austin, School of Architecture.
Both partners regularly serve as members of juries of competitions and awards.
Hoidn Wang Partner are concerned with designs that are self-evident, seemingly effortless and able to maintain a long physiological as well as aesthetic life expectancy. Contrary to mass production and its aesthetic decadence, the office's aim is to create a sensuous identity and cultural continuity in each project by means of conscientious craftsmanship.
